Conference Championship Recap

Wow, this weekend did not go as expected and it was a sad one for me as I am writing this right after the Bills game.

Buccaneers @ Packers

Tom Brady is going to the Superbowl, again and he will be looking for his 7th win. The touchdown pass Brady threw to end the first half was a big momentum shift and as the game went on, we saw a few interceptions from Rodgers and the Bucs got even hotter. Brady is headed back to the Superbowl for the 10th time and for the first time ever, a team will have a home-field advantage in the Superbowl.

Bills @ Chiefs

Well, this game made me sad as a Bills Fan. We showed some promise in the beginning with a big turnover on a dropped punt return but after that, the momentum completely shifted to the Chiefs, when Mahomes brought them down the field to score multiple times (also big drop by Singletary really hurt). The Bills were just not in it and by the looks of it, a few of their receivers were battling some injuries, so the Chiefs took the victory and are looking for a repeat in the Superbowl. They came in ready and had a couple of explosive plays when it mattered. We will have to see what they do up against Brady in Tampa Bay. That match-up will be good.

Note to Bills Mafia:

Yes, it's sad to see our season end, but we had an amazing year. If someone told me in September we would be in the AFC Championship against the Chiefs I would be very happy. We just didn't play our greatest game and that's okay, we are still a young team and learning. I have not to doubt, we'll be a contender again next year and for many more amazing years to come.

Peace out Mafia,

Natalie
