It was a tough loss against the Dolphins but I don’t think that game represented how the Bills really are. With all our injuries on offence and defence, it made it hard to get something going. This week, though, our injuries are improving and it looks like we will have a few key players back, which is great. The defence is going to have to watch out for Lamar because he is someone who makes big plays whether it is with a run or a pass. He will be a problem this game. Though, Josh is going to be a bigger problem. He is coming into this week after a loss and this past week he has probably gotten into a mindset that will make him unstoppable today. He is looking for a win and is hungry to prove what the Bills can do. With our receivers a little banged up, the Bills will be relying on Josh’s arms and legs to help them and I think Josh will accept that responsibility and lead us to a win.
The defence is going to have a lot more players back this week so they will be able to pressure Lamar into making a mistake. Shutting down Lamar will be a key thing in this game. If the Bills can get a turnover or two, the game is theirs. Last week the fumble against the Dolphins was costly, so the Bills offence needs to keep the ball out of the hands of the Raven’s defence today. As Josh says, if a drive ends in a kick then it’s a good drive. I think that Josh Allen will have no problem driving down the field each time he has the ball and while Lamar Jackson is very good, I don't think he can compete with a Josh Allen who comes into a game hungry and looking to rebound from a loss.
Do the Bills finally win a close game today? Yes, 100% they do.
